Corradino Anselmi

For over two decades, Chef Corradino Anselmi has been bringing the authentic flavors of South American fire cooking to Auckland. For the past 12 years, he has led the Ponsonby restaurant, El Sizzling Chorizo. A passionate of open-flame cooking, Corradino blends his training in Mendoza’s wine region with outdoor techniques, often creating bespoke fire pits for whole-animal preparations. For this year’s FAWC, he presents a unique fusion of premium New Zealand produce with traditional Argentinian methods, drawing on his expertise as both a chef and a gaucho butcher.
