Initially inspired by the love of baking and the joy of working with raw products, his unforced food style keeps a focus on the main ingredient. This path has led him to lead and chef at a diverse selection of restaurants from the famous Vinnies in Herne Bay Auckland, to being the inaugural Executive Chef at Craggy Range Winery, Huka Lodge, Wildfire in Sydney and for the last 12 years creating magic at his own bistro Mister D Dining in Napier.
